What makes it stand out is that you can even tilt the 3D Navigation Map to have a better view of the road you’re following. There are also turn-by-turn navigations that are good for newbies.

The ID 4 is a 2022 vehicle but it looks like something that came from the future. As for the infotainment system, it has a huge touchscreen interface with USB-C connectivity and smartphone integration. This might be more of a party trick than a feature, but it’s definitely worth mentioning! The ID Light Bar can be seen at the far end of the dashboard, just beneath the windscreen, and has a few amazing tricks up its sleeve.

Using the voice command feature, and of course, the ID, the Light Bar illuminates smartly to give you visual feedback which comes in handy when your eyes are focused on the road. Road trips on summer days can be a little too hot, but if you need some of that fresh air, the ID 4 will be really convenient. You can control all four windows with one simple touch by holding down the rear button on the driver’s left door panel. All four with one button. Talk about easy access.

Cupholders are something we all look for when buying a car. The ID 4 comes with two sets of cupholders for front-seaters. One set can be seen in the center console while the other is under a rolling cover. What makes it uniques is that the inserts are modular, they can be for the covered space and the dividers for the open holders can be swapped or removed for easier customization to give you the space you need. Might it be for phones, keys, candies, or cups.

The Friendly Goodbye Chime

Since it doesn’t make much noise, the Volkswagen ID 4 can confirm if the driver exits the vehicle with a friendly goodbye chime. And, because of Volkswagen’s meticulous attention to every detail, you can also adjust the volume of the chime.

The Volkswagen ID 4 is the car we never knew we needed. The car promises a top-of-the-line performance that everyone looks for. It has a size and space that’s convenient for whatever we need.
